In her statement of support, Ms Jiang Jinghui, MBA, Chairman of BNC, says: "As the disseminator of Florence Nightingale’s spirit and culture in China, the Beijing Nightingale Corporation always focuses on our mission to promote the spirit of Florence Nightingale and improve the development of the nursing community in China.
"We support the Nightingale Declaration Campaign and believe that the Campaign will play a major role in promoting the development of human health throughout the world."
Ms Jiang Jinghui is one of China's nursing leaders. Sixteen years ago, she established the Beijing Nightingale Dress & Personal Adornments to provide the medical uniforms to hospitals and the other medical institutions. For many years, she has worked hard to expand the scope of the products and services of the institution.
Ms Jiang is the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Member of Beijing Mentougou District and also the Executive Committee Member of Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce. A member of the Chinese Nursing Association, Ms Jiang firmly believes that the main purpose of the BNC is to develop the nursing profession in China. She has helped many nurses in China. On International Nurse Day, she organizes and conducts seminars to strengthen and enhance the committment of nurses to serve people.
In corporation with China's Ministry of Health and Health News, she has created a regular column on Nursing issues, which has been rated the best column by the Ministry.
Ten years ago, Ms Jian Jinghui set up the Nightingale Fund to assist nursing students, in-service nurses and retired nurses. In addition, she is quick to provide assistance to villagers suffering from natural disasters, and contributed protective uniforms to hospitals during the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) crisis in 2003. She works closely with the Nightingale Award winners to provide voluntary nursing services to communities. In July 2007, in collaboration with the Chinese Red Cross, she establish a Chinese Nightingale Volunteer Nursing Service Team to provide health consultation and care for communities to prevent disease.
The Beijing Nightingale Corporation is a major enterprise engaged in: medical uniform product and design, medical textile research, medical institutes culture construction, public health management consultation and professional nursing training.
